Goal
The UAE Women's Day 2020 Animation project was a pivotal experience in my career, marking the beginning of a fruitful collaboration with my friend and mentor, Michel Sallom. Commissioned by Abjad Design Company, this project celebrates the strength, achievements, and contributions of women in the UAE.
Utilizing a mix of 2D animation techniques, including frame-by-frame animation, frame-by-frame morphing, and cut-out animation, we created a dynamic and engaging video that captures the essence of the occasion. We used tools like Procreate and After Effects to bring our vision to life.
This project not only allowed me to hone my animation skills but also laid the foundation for many years of collaboration with Michel Sallom. It was a rewarding experience that showcased the power of storytelling through animation and highlighted the important role of women in the UAE's cultural and social landscape.
